Writing is done for a purpose – to solve a problem, call for action, propose a solution, or create awareness – and in this course students will consider their purpose for writing to state, develop, organize, and support an argument or position. Learning Management System (LMS) is Moodle. This course utilizes an asynchronous mode of learning (ie other than forums, there is no set meeting time for the class. Students may access & complete course material at their own convenience).
