Located in the upcoming Renfrew District near the Renfrew Skytrain station, the future home of LaSalle College Vancouver, stands seven stories and is over 92,000 square feet.
Students and staff came together to design a space where architecture, technology and art merge, creating a future focused learning environment.
Upon entering the first thing you will see is the floating classroom, this unique feature has dual purpose as a lecture theatre but also space to access our purpose built sound stage for our Digital Film & Video program, as well as a multi-use event space.
As the #1 Game Design school in Canada, having a lounge for our Game students to showcase their work, experience the latest games, and have a place to relax was incredibly important.
Several makerspaces are located throughout the building. They allow for a collaborative work space and tools for making, learning, exploring and sharing creativity.
Several Fashion Design labs will allow our Bachelor’s and Diploma students to design, and create in a bright, state of the art studio.
Each floor has comfortable and collaborative social spaces for students to spend time outside of the classroom.
Outside, on the 7th floor, will be a rooftop terrace where students and staff can soak up the sun, relax in the meditation garden, and even grow local herbs, fruits, and vegetables in a garden meant to inspire our Culinary students.
LaSalle College Vancouver is proud to announce that it will be moving into a new purpose-built education center driven by technology, active learning, and social engagement.
